Job Profile
The Sales & Service Manager has the responsibility of promoting the company’s maintenance and services portfolio which involves obtaining service contracts and providing on-site technical expertise to deliver high quality services to clients. The incumbent must have a strong technical and engineering background to support a number of critical operations and maintenance contracts.
Requirements
BSc. Mechanical Engineering
Eight (8) Minimum Years Experience in the Engineering/Services Field
Good experience and knowledge of the mining business environment
Must be Proficient in Engineering Sales & Technical Services
Knowledge of key decision makers in the mining industry is an advantage
A Valid Driving License with good driving experience for long distances.
Result Oriented and Self-Motivated
Proven success in selling solutions to both technical and business buyers
Able to make effective presentations or demonstrations
Able to prioritise work in multi-tasking environment
A goal-getter with the ability to follow up on commitments and meet deadlines
Strong negotiation skills and sales aptitude and the flair to close deals
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills
Experience and good knowledge of the market, particularly the mining sector
Customer focused and paying attention to detail
Willingness and ability to travel long distances when necessary
