This is an exciting opportunity to join Accelera by Cummins team at the start of projects which will serve as basis for the new family of batteries using cells from a joint development with industry giants. We are a vastly resourced, Zero Emissions industrial giant and you could be part of our success.

We are looking for a talented Senior Contract Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. The role reports to the Risk Manager - ELECTROLYZER PROJECT MANAGEMENT DPT.

Your tasks

· The primary focus of this position is to support the different company stakeholders in reviewing properly our contracts before their signature, and follow-up after signature for any change, claim, etc. at all stages of a project (from BD/Sales to Project completion)

· You should have effective leadership and management skills to achieve performance objectives.

· You will be acting as a central point of contact for all contractual matters at all stages of a Project.

· You will be coordinating all support services inside the Company (legal team & external counsels, finances, insurances, etc.) to ensure all aspects of a contract are properly analyzed and are acceptable for the Company in terms of inherent risks, legal aspects, compliance, financial impacts, etc.

· You shall be responsible of drafting notices, official letter, important emails and other documents required in on-going management of contracts as well as managing contract approval and signature process and managing, updating and organizing template agreements.

· You shall assist in implementing policies and carrying out procedures for the business relating to compliance matters.

· You shall answer questions from project management and execution teams with respect to executed agreements (liaising with the legal team, where necessary)

· You have strong legal background with keenness to apply your legal expertise in a technical environment, dealing with several persons of different technical backgrounds and from different cultures.

· This role requires a 25% business travelling mostly across Europe.

Skills

Business Process and Internal Control Risk Analysis - Evaluates business processes to identify risks and internal control gaps; applies understanding of business processes and relevant risks to develop and implement process improvements; develops risk management plans by applying internal control framework to address identified risks.

Business Partnering - Collaborates with stakeholders and develops partnerships to drive performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies; influences the organization by demonstrating knowledge of the business to provide guidance to support the decision making process and guiding the business towards positive results and organizational alignment; evaluates business environment using measures to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities.

Government Regulations - Interprets and applies Government regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk on Government Contracts.

Government Cost Accounting Standards - Interprets and applies the rules around Government Cost Accounting Standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risk of Government audits.

Government and Customer Negotiations - Evaluates contract financial terms in order to reach a final agreement between the parties; determines best interest of Cummins Inc. and mitigates risk while maximizing revenue and margin.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.

Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

Financial acumen - Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

Experience

Significant experience required, including supervisory experience.

Experience of approx. 8 to 10 years in Contract Management,preferably in Oil & Gas Business

High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office 365 suite Experience in large Projects contract management andin EPC Contracts

Language: Fluency in English is a requirement - French, German or Dutch knowledge is a plus

You will be rewarded with:
