Altek is growing and adding a second shift to our busy production team. We are open to applicants interested in full time ( 30 hours or more per week) or part-time work (less than 30 hours per week).
Second Shift hours are 3 pm - 11:30 pm. An additional $1 per hour is provided as a shift differential for working on 2nd shift.

Summary
Responsible for performing functional testing of analog, digital, and microprocessor based systems to customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Electronic Technician I at AltekIncludes the following, other duties may be assigned:
Perform testing of analog, digital, and microprocessor based systems
Calibrate and maintain test fixtures
Operate all test equipment including multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and function generators
Operate programming devices
Analyze and interpret test information to resolve issues
Supports supervisors and/or operators in the resolution of quality problems
Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements.
Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/procedures
Responsible for product quality as defined by internal and external customers, work instructions, specifications and procedures.
Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Strong communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to read & understand assembly documentation, test procedures, and all inspection criteria
Ability to operate all test equipment including multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and programming devices
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Education and/or Experience
Must have a high school diploma /GED or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of one year of electronic technician or test related experience/training
IPC 610 & 620 certification Working Conditions: Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.
