The Sr Project Manager will work a hybrid schedule from our office in the New York/New Jersey area OR remotely.

The Sr Project Manager will report to the PMO Director and will work closely with key leaders, functional areas, and the Project Management Office to analyze, support, manage, lead, monitor and report on projects across Jencap. This position will work closely with existing project resources in the company. This position may require periodic travel based on the requirements of the projects in process, but it is expected that the position will be able to work remotely or in an existing local office of Jencap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and support multiple projects by utilizing basic project management methodology.

Create and maintain processes and documentation to support, manage and report on projects.

Develop measurement, tracking and reporting, including related expenses.

Develop, implement, and govern processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.

Monitor compliance with project policies and standards.

Partner with leaders to develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

Monitor project activities to determine if budget revisions are necessary to accomplish objectives within time and budget targets.

Collaborate with leaders to identify risks and prepare mitigation and contingency plans. Identify upside potential and opportunities to accelerate timelines.

Interface with executives to define priorities, implementation opportunities, challenges and communicate risks and opportunities.

Provide timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross-organizational management briefings.

Conduct a post-implementation assessments and evaluations.

Perform various project management, coordination and PMO related tasks as needed

Other ad hoc analysis, reporting and PMO support as needed

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Knowledge of and experience in the Insurance industry.

Exposure to Agency Management Systems, Underwriting, MGA, Wholesale, Brokerage, Binding Authority, and Program Management desired (experience with Insurity SureMGA/ConceptOne preferred and highly desired).

A proven track record of successful project management and delivery. An ability to improve practices and ability to lead projects and project teams of various sizes.

Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously to completion using project management skills and project management methodologies.

Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, setting quantifiable goals, data collection and analysis, and measuring results.

Strong change leadership skills, customer focus, and global and strategic thinking.

Self-directed, process-oriented, strong business acumen, attention to detail, ability to drive consensus in decision making and problem solving.

Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables in a fast-paced work environment.

Motivated to build relationships at various levels, cross teams, and partner groups.

Demonstrated creative and innovative thinking. Strong desire to improve service, relationships, processes, and systems.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels of management including executive management.

Proficient Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of project management, implementation, integration, or project activity experience.

PMP/ Project Management certifications preferred

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The base pay range for the Sr Project Manager will be $95,000 to $150,000. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded. Jencap also offers a range of benefits and programs, based on eligibility, which currently include but are not limited to; comprehensive health care coverage, a 401k plan, and tuition reimbursement.
