As a Hearing Protection Specialist, you will help people protect their hearing where hearing protection is required. Your role is to make high-quality ear impressions for end users that Custom Protect Ear will then turn into custom hearing protection. You will work closely with our sales and sales support team in scheduling visits to workplaces in your territory and will deliver exceptional care and customer service while making impressions. You’ll also cross-sell lifestyle hearing protection to extend care beyond the workplace. As a product and hearing protection expert, you’ll address questions and provide technical troubleshooting in real time while on-site. Punctuality, detail orientation, and data management are key in this front-line role as is product expertise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:

· Be the hearing protection expert while on-site with customers; provide fitting recommendations, and product descriptions, explain ear impression techniques, and provide technical support.

· Deliver exceptional customer service through clear and proactive communication, punctuality, and data management

· Make consistently high-quality earmold impressions for the end users.

· Be available when and where our customers need us; This role requires flexibility in your hours which may include early mornings, late evenings, or weekends to cover our customers-based employees. This role requires daily travel within your territory.

· Offer (cross-sell) lifestyle hearing protection to extend benefits into other settings like motorsports, concerts, and hunting.

· Place orders in our systems accurately and timely; Handle issues as they arise

· Capture accurate customer and end-user data in our systems

· Support tradeshows and events with the Sales team by taking ear impressions.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

· Ability to travel 70% of the time and willingness to work flexible hours.

· Experience in ear impression taking preferred, but not required

· Highly ethical and able to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary Westone business information, including but not limited to discounts, margins, and price lists.

· Being comfortable working in industrial environments and being flexible in terms of work schedules.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

· Have a dependable vehicle and the ability to use it daily for work.

· Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

· High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

· Valid Driver’s License and Passport.

· Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook email, Word, Excel)

· High school diploma or equivalent.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Work is performed at customer remote locations and at a home office which requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

· Work requires daily travel; primarily driving to customer locations but may include air travel periodically.

· Operate a computer keyboard and mouse for prolonged periods.

· Communicate effectively with internal and external partners in person, on the phone, and via email.

· Ability to stand, bend, and lift to 25 pounds.

· Ability to work in noisy and dusty environments.

PAY: 100% Commission; Target $50k - $65K
