Job Summary:
Perform laundry cleaning activities by BOH health and safety standards, while ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Comply at all times with BOH/Hyatt standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering.
Load and unload washers and dryers.
Maintain equipment as trained.
Fold, store and distribute towels and linens.
Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages.
Maintain clean work area.
Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
This position requires strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form.
Must be able to convey information and ideas.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
