Job Duties

Seeking a skilled Pediatric Allergist provide specialized care to patients with allergic and immunological conditions and disorders. Duties will include conducting patient consultations, performing allergy testing, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing management and education to patients and their families. Collaboration with other members of patients care team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient consultations to assess allergic conditions and medical history.

Perform allergy testing, including skin prick tests, patch tests, blood tests, etc.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on allergy test results and patient symptoms.

Prescribe medications, immunotherapy, and other allergy treatments as needed.

Provide patient education on allergen avoidance strategies, medication usage, and symptom management.

Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate care and referrals as necessary.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient encounters.

Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in pediatric allergy and immunology.

Requirements of the Pediatric Allergist

Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Board Certified/Eligible

Has Completed a Pediatric Residency Program

Has/Will Complete Fellowship Training in Pediatric Allery/Immunology
