Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4:00pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change

Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Engineer:

Develop detailed design drawings and detailed layout drawings of electrical feeder conduits, equipment and light fixtures for Electrical projects using Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software

Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems

Coordinate with lighting representatives and create photo-metric drawings

Draw detailed plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data

Support project standard in coordination with customer requirements

Provide ampere interrupter capacity calculations for electrical services

Creating one-line drawings, panel schedules and load letters

Create Revit families in response to company and project needs

Attend virtual and in-person coordination meetings to resolve engineering design and installation issues.

Resolving all BIM design issues and clashes with all other contractors and engineers

Requirements of the Electrical Project Engineer:

5+ years’ Experience in commercial electrical design, minimum of 2 years’ experience in BIM modeling

Understanding of how to read Construction Drawings

Understanding of the NEC and ability to utilize it in the design process

High attention to detail

Ability to work and coordinate multiple projects at once

Proficient computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good people skills

Great attitude is a MUST

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Adhere to company pre-employment drug screen and background check
