Are you a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in the 2024-2025 school year? Soliant Education is currently seeking Special Education Teachers to join school districts across Maryland.

Job Description: As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) to address the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

Providing differentiated instruction and accommodations to support student learning and growth.

Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure that students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.

Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies as needed to promote student success.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.

Participating in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.

Valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Special Education in Maryland.

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.

Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
