Renovation and Maintenance Project Leader for Multi-Family Company

Job Description

Residential multi-family real estate firm seeks full-time maintenance and renovation project leader. We are a family-owned property management, investment, and development company with a portfolio of over 60 apartment buildings in the West Los Angeles area. Associate will work on-site at apartment buildings in areas including West L.A., Mar Vista, Palms, Westchester, Brentwood.

Requirements and Responsibilities

- Experience working alongside and managing renovation and maintenance crews for high quality, on-time and within budget projects that include work in a wide range of trades including plumbing, electrical, light demolition, framing, drywall, cabinets, counters, appliance installation etc.

- Ready to work hands-on on projects.

- Ability to evaluate and propose project scope of work based on condition of vacant units and/or overall needs of a building following company guidelines.

- Able to lead team members and hold them accountable for quality and efficiency of work.

- Skilled at prioritizing and multi-tasking with several concurrent projects.

- Familiarity with a wide range of building maintenance tasks including light plumbing, simple electrical, installation of fixtures and appliances, repair of drywall, stucco, etc.

- Experience with renovation work including light carpentry, drywall installation, replacement of doors, locks, windows, and other fixtures including toilets, sinks, baths, showers, outlets and switches, cabinetry mounting, light demolition.

- Follows safety protocols and procedures

- Takes pride in workmanship and working efficiently

- Dedicated to working on all jobs with efficiency and focus

- Interested in expanding knowledge and increasing job relevant skill sets.

- Reliable transportation (truck or SUV preferred, but not required)

Full-time with company health plan and 401K after qualifying period.

$25-$35 / hour depending on experience + performance based annual bonusesCompany Description
