Job Description

Psych Nurse Practitioner for either in-patient or out-patient or both, 20-30 hours per week, at $80,000 + yearly. The facility employment site would be at the Baptist Health Drew County Hospital working as a contract employee for the Psych Department medical director as a member of his team. The team has high morale and works in a friendly collegial atmosphere. The Medical Director is an Ivy league educated, former attorney, current Board Certified Psychiatrist of 25 years experience who has taught as an adjunct professor who enjoys teaching his staff about aspects of the medical-psychiatric profession in a way that makes learning exciting and in a way they can remember the lessons in a way they will not forget rather than by rote memorization. The staff generally look forward to coming to work everyday because there is always something new and interesting to experience. The job pays $85 to $100 per hour and so income is based on how much you decide to work within a 20-30 hour per week range.
