Position Summary

We are looking for a responsible Receiving Administrative Assistant to receive, inspect and record shipments. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the orders. A receiving clerk must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to unload shipments as well as the clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads receiving team and assists Receiving Manager where needed.

• Is primary receiver to check in all inbound POs and verify product and counts.

• Schedules inbound appointments via email and phone.

• Direct inbound drivers to assigned doors; aids outbound pickup drivers (handles BOLs for signature at pickup window)

• Updates receiving LDM board daily and posts general info messages- Microsoft Power Point

• Forklift driver - load & unload trucks as needed (not a primary duty but skill set required)

• Directs personnel as needed in receiving.

• Leads repack projects as required

• Monitors put away/stocking

• Processes inbound and return paperwork, works with CSR for changes and filing of paperwork

• Checks in returns, verifies counts

• Communicates via email or phone to buyers, or pottery team for inbound

• Reports discrepancies to buyers

• Assists warehouse as needed

• Assists with inventory concerns

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in warehousing/distribution desired.

• Ability to operate a stand-up and/or sit down fork trucks.

• SAP (WM) experience is desired.

• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs and frequently lift 20 – 30 lbs.

7:00am to 3:30pm plus overtime which will be mandatory when neededCompany Description
