Armed Security Guard- Bronx

Multiple Openings

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday : 10:00am - 9:00pm

$26.00 per hour

Position Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for:

Maintains the safety of the store and premises by providing a secure environment for employees and visitors with strong customer service

Must be proactive and alert to protect company property and to deter theft, and respond to emergency situations with precision

Monitors customer traffic entering and exiting the store and communicates suspicious activity to management

Help to ensure security systems and safety procedures are adhered to

Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management

Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over

This is a standing guard position and must wait for last customer to leave store before ending shift

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Valid NYS Security Guard License

1 year of security guarding experience

Completion of 16 HR OJT Class required by NYS Licensing Division

Valid CPR-AED certification a PLUS

HS Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record

Must have valid License to Carry in New York.
