Job Description

Lynwood Building Materials, Inc. – San Antonio, TX

Lynwood is looking to hire a Boom Truck Operator with the following experience and credentials to make local deliveries of building materials in San Antonio and surrounding areas. We are a small, family-owned and operated company with 40+ years’ experience serving our great city.

· A valid Class A or Class B CDL license with at least one year of driving experience

· Boom truck crane operating experience

· Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills

· Familiarity with construction materials is a plus

· The ability to lift boxes and materials up to 50 lbs

Your Duties to include, but not limited to:

· Preparing trucks for operation by loading the trucks, securing the items, and verifying the accuracy against customer invoices

· Performing pre/post trip truck inspections, keeping delivery logs, and following safety guidelines

· Collecting payment and obtaining customer signatures at time of delivery

· Performing material pick-ups from vendor locations

· Forklift use. Forklifts are used for regular delivery and warehouse functions. Some trucks are equipped with forklifts to aid with deliveries.

· Performing warehouse duties as needed and other job duties as assigned.
