Direct Support Professional DSP

Job Description

We currently have openings for & are seeking experienced, dependable and passionate Direct Support Professional & Direct Service Provider (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -- caregivers of all types to join our tight-knit group of group Resident homes to schedule PRN/Per diem shifts in 2 week blocks, providing independence & care for our beloved residents that range from active, to developmentally disabled, and who are succeeding in growth and stability with the care from our wonderful providers! Our homes set up for 4 -6 adults to live permanently, needing assistance in their independence, or may have developmental disabilities needing specialized support. Our highly trained staff is on hand 24/7 in group homes to ensure everyone has the support they need. There are several locations to choose from!

REQUIRED:

*Active CPR Certification (in-person course, through AHA or Red Cross) or BLS

Start Date: ASAP

* Lots of Overtime (OT)

* Paid weekly, on Fridays

* Can choose location of Home best fit or is closest to you - All of our Resident homes are located within 5 -15 minutes of each other, in the Gardner & Olathe areas - With the ability to choose which home(s) you prefer to work at!

Payrange: DSP - $18.37 - $23.02/hr CNA - $24.58 - $31.80/hr (Granted based on experience - the more you have, the better!)

Hours per Week: 40+ FT or PRN

Shifts Available: DAY (7a-3p), EVE (3p-11a), & NIGHT (11p-7a)

Experience Required: at least 6 Months caregiving experience

Experience Preferred: 1 year of Caregiving experience, working with Developmentally disabled, Patient Care experience

Certificates Required: BLS or CPR w/ First Aid

- Helping Residents with dining, mobility, health, and hygiene activities.

- Accompanying individuals while running errands.

- Attending special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks, games, and social events.

- Assisting individuals in achieving their personal goals and desires.

- Administering medication to residents.
