LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a full-time Director of IT Operations to work onsite out of Camas, WA. The Director of IT Operations is responsible for leading the IT Infrastructure and Service Desk Team to deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong partnerships in a rapidly expanding high-tech manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, team management, procurement, security oversight, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: The Director of IT Operations will be responsible for supervising the IT Infrastructure and Service Desk across multiple locations, including three domestic manufacturing facilities in Washington and Oregon, two international operations in China and Finland, and a contract manufacturing site in Thailand. Leading strategic and tactical initiatives, the Director will drive efforts to ensure exceptional customer service delivery within the organization.

This role reports directly to the VP of IT and will oversee the IT Service Desk Manager along with the entire IT infrastructure team. Based primarily in Camas, WA, this position requires occasional travel to local sites and international locations.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology within a high-tech manufacturing company.

At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, demonstrating strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of gathering pertinent information, evaluating relevant factors, and making informed decisions based on data, trends, and experience.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective articulation of technical concepts to management and other IT stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate proficiently with various organizational levels, exhibiting strong executive engagement and relationship-building capabilities.

Proven track record of managing multiple, dynamic projects to achieve scope, schedule, and budget objectives.

Successful coordination with cross-functional, multicultural teams worldwide, emphasizing results-driven outcomes and accountability.

Willingness to engage in hands-on tasks when necessary, with a demonstrated ability to coach and train teams for optimal performance.

Proactive in seeking and providing assistance, displaying a dedicated team player mindset.

Preferential consideration given to candidates with evidence of ongoing education, including IT or security-related certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP.

Experience in highly regulated industries, such as compliance with standards like NIST 800-171 or SOX, is highly desirable.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is required; MBA preferred.

Compensation/Benefits: $150,000-190,000 plus 8-10% Bonus
