Description

SQL front-end Developer for an immediate contract/to/hire opportunity for our direct client in Kansas City.

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating SQL reports using SSIS reporting, the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications together with performing custom development for new requests.

Our client is seeking candidates with good communication skills as this position will require engagement with business stakeholders to understand new requirements and discussion with the IT team to identify the best solution possible.

The SQL front-end Developer will analyze business requirements and confirm the functional specification before proceeding with the design and development of the appropriate code.

The selected candidate will also perform root cause analysis to debug existing code and resolve defects.

Good experience with ETL and Microsoft Business Intelligence is required including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Furthermore, the SQL Developer will be responsible for developing Microsoft Reports using Visual Studio and TFS.

The SQL Developer will contribute significantly UAT and functional testing.

The successful candidate must have 8+ years of SQL Development experience, MS SQL Server 2016 experience or higher, experience with Java, C#, MS SQL, and .Net programming, advanced SQL Job Agents, and effective communication skills.
