We are seeking a Merchandising Intern with experience in fast fashion apparel production, merchandising, and data to join the SHEIN X team. Within this role, you will be working closely with overseas design and production teams to review sales data, draft inspiration guides for designers, offer feedback to designers, review tech packs, and problem solve any production issues between designers and internal teams.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in apparel design, production, merchandising, sales and operations and learn about how we collaborate with artists and designers to bring their vision to life.
Job Responsibilities
Review sales data to understand top sellers and market trends
Understand designers in depth, build portfolios for each designer, and provide design guidelines
Provide feedback to aid designers to respond to market trends and improve designer performance
Be the liaison between designers, manufacturing and internal teams
Communicate with stakeholders in a clear, concise and timely fashion
Ensure deadlines are met and escalate issues as they arise
Work with marketing team on marketing initiatives around SHEIN X including but not limited to livestreams, content shoots, pop ups, fashion shows, partnerships with large brands, etc.
Job Requirements
2+ years of experience in apparel production
1+ year of experience in merchandising and data analysis
Solid understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, documents and industry terminology
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
A self-starter with great time management and prioritization skills
Proactive and deadline-driven and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines
Must have exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and GSuite
Pay: $19/hr
