Your work day consists of:

Responsive customer service handling inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. Collaborates with sales and rental teams to efficiently execute contracts, locate equipment, and confirm delivery details. Ensures compliance with Southeastern Equipment's contract and billing procedures. Utilizes Salesforce, Excel, and technology for streamlined rental processes. Coordinates trucking logistics and collaborates with operations, rental, and accounting teams to ensure accurate paperwork and billing. Writes DPO tickets, maintains organized files, and collaborates with service and yard personnel for delivery readiness. Additional duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements: 10% or less

May travel for training and meetings as needed.

May travel if needed to other branches.

Customer Communication and Service

Answer customer phone requests and conduct proper discovery conversations to aid in building a rental quote/contract.

Respond to customer electronic communications professionally.

Communicating final billing and rental repairs as necessary.

Contacts customers for status updates on rentals and informs them on expected delivery/pickups as needed.

Rental Contract and Coordination

Receive rental requests and create opportunities in CRM/Business System.

Return of rental contracts to customer or stakeholder within 20 minutes from request.

Verify the customer meets all standards for their machine rental (credit check, certificate of insurance and appropriate machine use).

Rental contract signature capture and submission to back office for billing.

Customers call off and end of contract billing summaries.

Updating credit cards and assisting in collecting routine credit card payments.

Equipment Selection and Logistics

Sources equipment for rental contracts and applies to records.

Aids in updating equipment records for availability or hold status using the CRM/Business System.

Answers inquiries about fleet availability internally and externally.

Coordinates and arranges trucking for all rental moves.

Verifies and updates GPS tracking systems for rental fleet.

Intercompany Stakeholder Cooperation

Sales department equipment needs for demo/loaner and used equipment.

Actively engaged in the sales team’s efforts of selling rental and equipment, providing full equipment rental support and timely responses.

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned and updated.

Follows all stated SEC SOPs as updated and amended.

What you bring to the table:

Educational and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or technical training is a plus.

Previous experience in a similar role within the construction equipment industry is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of construction equipment and product uses a plus.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, word, excel, PowerPoint etc.

30 WPM typing speed.

Valid driver's license.

Professional etiquette required.

Please keep in mind that the posted pay range represents the range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual hourly/salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location, certifications, and skill development.
