This is a Unit-level supervisory position and key technical resource for overseeing mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance activities. Also oversees and participates in all work activities, performing a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This person will have supervisory responsibilities for 15 part-time workers. This individual coordinates the work of outside contractors and assures that their work is performed at high levels and within tight time constraints. This person coordinates with Fire and Safety with building reviews and developing regulations of venue - fire sprinkler certification required. Multiple trades required - Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, General Maintenance are important aspects for a full working knowledge of the venue. Assistance with reviews for ADA building regulations that have to be in compliance with law. Works with third party vendors regarding their preparations for shows, mechanical and HVAC set-ups and general electrical setups for shows. If production supervisor is out, this person supervises production staff, which would include phone system, wifi etc., maintenance for concessions and kitchen and other spaces on the PAC site. This person oversees the responsibility of roofing repairs.

This role will pay a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000

Responsibilities

Serves as a key technical resource to diagnose facility systems issues mechanical, electrical, plumbing,roofing and other requirements to maintain the new venue.

Supervises and joins staff to install, replaceor repair damaged equipment; calibrate thermostatic controls, electrical conduit, wiring, motor starters,conductors, lighting, cables, electrical panels and related equipment to ensure the facility is operable for hosting events.

Inspect building and equipment to identify mechanical maintenance needs. Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned, requisition materials as required.

Oversee contractors and manage all aspects of repairs performed by 3rd parties.

Operate, maintain and repair a variety of mechanical tools and equipment.

Read and interpret sketches, diagrams and blueprints and perform other duties as assigned for the facility to operate efficiently for users patrons and guests.

Establish schedules and methods for providing mechanical and electrical maintenance services.

Identify resource needs, review with appropriate management staff and allocate resources accordingly.

Provide or coordinate staff training, work with employees to correct deficiencies and implement discipline procedures.

Evaluate employee performance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Assoiates in Mechanics ot Trade Certificatin preferred

Minimum 5 years supervisory and mechanical repair experience

Knowledge of supervision, training

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts.
