About the Role

As a part of the Core Infra Vertical, the Platform Engineering team works collaboratively with teams across the organization to drive product initiatives and platform projects forward. By setting the standard of what's possible, the Platform Engineering team pushes the boundaries and helps teams deliver unique experiences to our customers in new and exciting ways. Working with teams on major projects and initiatives, the Platform Engineering team offers the ability to work on many projects across the engineering organization and make an impact at a global scale.

Your Responsibilities

Database Maintenance: Managing large datasets

Troubleshooting: For problems related to databases, clusters and replication

Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with development and infrastructure teams to assist with SQL Tuning

Your Expertise

Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other RDBMS.

Advanced MySQL knowledge and MySQL replication

Familiarity with Managed cloud DB system such as OCI, GCP And AWS

Good knowledge of MySQL architecture and experience in optimizing server parameters for optimal performance.

Experience working with large databases.

Ability to tune queries and suggest appropriate performance improvement measures.

Experience in database security and access control

Experience with database performance monitoring and optimization

Understanding of data backup and restoration processes.

Knowledge of Redis will be advantage

3+ years of experience with Linux and Relational Databases.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
