EH&S PROFESSIONAL NEEDED - COLDWATER, MICHIGAN

A Leading Manufacturing Company in the Coldwater, Michigan area needs an EH&S Professional. This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays & Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for the right person to lead our strong EH&S program to the next level. The ideal candidate is an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Professional who will manage all aspects of employee health and safety and site environmental compliance and continuous improvement to advance the Company s EH&S Programs, Processes and Systems.

Lead activities that drive site/company safety and environmental performance to higher levels (based on benchmarking), focusing on improvements that will increase the level of adherence and compliance to the Company s EH&S objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor s Degree in safety, environmental or equivalent major.

Minimum of 5 years experience in an EH&S role with demonstrated understanding of related principles and regulations.

Strong persuasion and motivation skills as well as the ability to work across all disciplines and employee levels.

Strong communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to accurately write reports, communicate verbally with employees, provide constructive feedback and maintain positive employee relations.

Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and walk the plant floor on a regular basis.

Ability to work variable hours, be on call and travel occasionally (<15%).
