Job Description
Summary: Assists Pharmacist in fast-paced long term care pharmacy by performing the following duties:

· Accurately and completely performs data entry for new admits, new orders, and changes.
· Assists other pharmacy technicians to accurately and efficiently retrieve and fill medications according to the medication label.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal law.
· Count, measure and pre-pack medications appropriately.
· Assist in checking and filling monthly cycle.
· Verify medical records for accuracy.
· Answer telephones and contact physicians/facilities for order clarification.
· Assist with accurate and timely prescription processing under Pharmacist supervision.
· Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
· Assist customers by answering simple questions, locating items, or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information.
· Perform other related duties as necessary.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or Equivalent. Missouri Pharmacy Technician License required. QS1 Software experience preferred but not required. LTC experience preferred but not required

Shifts rotate weekly:
Mon-Friday 9am-6pm and Mon-Friday 8am-5pm; occasional Saturday once fully trained. Company Description
