At Stymco Medical LLC our mission is to provide the most modern and effective durable medical devices, such as, braces, mobility items, wound care, ostomy, enteral supplies between others to patients through our provider network and to provide the highest quality and professional service to providers and patients alike. To support these efforts we need experienced health care collections professional.

We have an immediate opening for eager workers who are experienced in medical billing and collections and are comfortable dealing with insurance companies and patients over the telephone. If you are engaging, charismatic on the telephone, patient, good at working as a team and of the highest integrity we would be interested in you contacting us.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Monitors overdue accounts

Collect debts from Insurance Companies and patients.

Review EOBs and send appeals to Insurance Companies.

Follow up on payments errors, low disbursement, denials, etc.

Bill claims timely and accurately to payers such as commercial insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid.

High level of customer service by responding accurately and professionally to inquiries from insurance companies and patients.

Maintains and complies to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

Requirements:

2 year experience in healthcare insurance collection field with the knowledge of working aging reports as well as being able to read and understand Explanation of Benefits.

Computer and word processing skills, and ability to learn new software quickly

Knowledge of Medisoft (preferable)

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment

Attention to details

Ability to multitask

Able to work in office Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
