Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for the perfect Production Intern for the Summer. To be clear, this is a back-office production internship. As a Production Intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our production and post-production teams by assisting with various administrative and behind-the-scenes production-related tasks. You’ll gain valuable exposure to the entire video production process, from pre-production through post.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist with project organization (i.e. call sheets, schedules, and production binders)
Manage and transcribe footage and audio recordings
Assist with copyright and licensing organization for talent, music and footage
Maintain and organize production spreadsheets and templates
Assist in organizing expense reports
General office tasks and on-set production assistant tasks
Running errands, getting coffee, etc. (no errand or task is too small for the Production Intern)
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and passion for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with the Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Basic understanding of video production terminology and roles
Passion for video and a desire to learn about the industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
Mandates:
This is an in-office internship
We are looking mostly for Chattanooga applicants, but we will consider out-of-town applicants as well. Travel and/or living stipends are not included
We are very flexible about start and end dates, but this is a full-time position (40+ hours per week)
