CNC Lathe Machinist (Experienced)

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand product drawings and can product parts from drawings

Able to inspect product and threads for conformance to adhere to quality standards

Reading and understanding gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is properly running

Perform necessary mathematical calculations to product angles

Monitoring/assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

Participation in level 3 maintenance, preventative maintenance, and 5S

Adherence to corporate policies, procedures, practices and specifications

Adherence to department policies, procedures, practices and specifications

Adherence to OSHA safety standards, and departmental Lock out Tag out policies

Operate overhead, and floor crane

Report all discrepancies to department supervisor

Perform all other tasks assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED

3+ years’ experience in metal removal on a variety of machines
