Industrial Louvers, Inc. is a customer focused manufacturer of custom architectural metal products including architectural louvers, equipment screens, decorative grills, sunshades and column covers. Since 1971, ILI has met the needs of designers, contractors and subcontractors across all segments of the construction industry in North America.

Summary

Work directly with our Drafting and Engineering Teams to create 3D models and parametric configurations of architectural metal products using Auto-Desk Inventor.

The candidate must work on-site.

Flexible hours (20-40 hours / week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create full-scale 3D models using Auto-Desk Inventor. Create layouts and drawings for production

Build Templates and create work flows for primary users

Use Inventor iLogic to create automated 3D models. Create rules that support manufacturing processes and capabilities.

Automate and create programs for parts created on CNC Equipment

Create BOMs - integration with ERP.

Work with Production Team to enhance automation, quality and efficiency.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum of 1 year in Mechancial Drafting schooling using 3D CAD Software, ideally Inventor.

Ability to read and comprehend basic drawings, understand dimensioning and proportions.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
