We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Learning & Development on our Store Operations team onsite in Bethesda, MD. You will support learning and development-related initiatives, including instructional technology, for the Training and Events Team, Store Operations.
You will be responsible for the entire training lifecycle of various training and technology-related initiatives. These include synchronous virtual trainings, product training videos, product-related training materials, and other trainings/learning artifacts. The position will be responsible for creating various job aids related to these initiatives, including quick reference guides, computer-based modules, and training videos, and communicating those effectively to the target audience. The Sr. Associate will liaise with other internal stakeholders on these initiatives as necessary.
The Sr. Associate will also be responsible for the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) by managing the day-to-day maintenance of the system, including uploading content, content management, and test creation; providing support to those in the system (learning pathways, compliance-related training, etc.); creating and running reports at the request of internal stakeholders; managing accurate records for various product certifications (Wine for Life, Total Wine Professional, Total Spirits Professional); and troubleshooting as necessary. This role will respond to tickets related to instructional technology/LMS-related issues and requests by serving as the project lead for the help center queues. You will report to the Manager, Learning Systems.
You will:
Create new training objects, including quick reference guides, computer-based modules, and training videos
Collaborate with other internal departments to communicate, create, and/or manage the training initiatives effectively
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including transcript support, report processing, and content management
Respond to tickets related to technology issues and requests
Manage existing technology-related training initiatives to ensure their continued success
You will come with:
Bachelor’s Degree required (Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Instructional Technology, or other related field)
Experience developing training materials
Experience working in a Learning Management System (Cornerstone and Workday Learning preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Passion for researching and testing emerging educational trends and technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
