Network Systems Administrator

As a Network Administrator with Havertys, this is your opportunity to:

Configure and install network devices and services to include Nexus 9K, Cisco Identity Services (ISE), Wireless LAN Controllers, and Cisco Firepower appliances

Design, plan, and implement network solutions using the latest technology

Develop and support VoIP Solutions

Cube Administration/SIP/MGCP

Assist with the planning, organizing and implementation of new hardware and software.

Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of this position.

Work on an Agile Infrastructure Team.

Install network equipment and cabling in Data Centers and Retail/Distribution Environments

Monitor error logs and user-reported network issues.

Conduct regular tests to ensure system performance meets expectations.

Collaborate with technicians and administrators to conduct routine system audits and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Requirements

Preferred Certifications:

CCNP/CCDA

Cisco ISE Administration

Cisco Certifications in Security, Wireless, VoIP, or Switching

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or Mathematics

3-5 Years' Experience in Networking

Results-oriented focus

Independent research skills
