About the Engagement:

The engagement envisioned requires Infogain to:

Build and manage a series of modern/cutting-edge applications using microservices with the Java & Spring stack on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for client

Demonstrate technical excellence and capabilities in modern technologies

Design and Architect solutions in a highly collaborative environment with multiple teams involved

About the Role:

This individual will lead the entire cloud enterprise architecture for one or more customer’s enterprises. We will rely on this individual to:

Demonstrate cloud leadership and present Infogain as a capable partner in front of client stakeholders

Be able to add value with out-of-the-box thinking and thought leadership

Analyze and break down problems and objectives into logical building blocks and be able to drive the team toward identifying effective solutions

Demonstrate experience and expertise in architecting mission-critical innovation projects/products

Experience and exposure to modern technology trends (Cloud Platforms, Cloud Native Development, Modern App Development, etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead cloud enterprise architecture with a specific focus on the design and development of modern applications

Provide architectural/technical guidance to a hybrid team structure between onshore and offshore

Interface with key client stakeholders to lead the Design and Architectural sessions

Responsible for Design and Architecture, POC, and technical assistance to the delivery team

Get involved in troubleshooting and coding if needed

Experience :

Must-have:

Experience in architecting and building modern applications in the cloud with a focus on – Docker Containers, REST APIs, Microservices, Java, Spring Webflux, Apigee, API Gateways, SPA (NodeJS with any client-side framework)

Strong experience in building highly scalable, performance, and secure cloud-based solutions

Strong understanding of Cloud Native Application Development and Cloud Platform Capabilities.

Must have worked on Cloud-based modern application projects (GCP, Azure, or AWS)

Strong enterprise API integration architecture exposure (preferably with Apigee)

Strong exposure to designing and architecting Microservices cloud applications

Good exposure to cloud-based Identity and Access Management System IAM

Experience in working with multiple teams and being responsible for a large-scale suite of solutions/platform development

Must have experience working in Agile Projects

Worked in hybrid environments with offshore teams

Good to have:

Knowledge of Reactive programming with Spring Webflux

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Good knowledge of working with Linux shell and shell scripts

Knowledge of deployment of Docker containers on Kubernetes

Experience with doing development on both Windows and Mac laptops
