Sr Executive / Assistant Manager - Regulatory Affairs (R&D, HCD)

Job Objective

1. To monitor and involve in vetting claims in Artwork, Advertisements, e-platforms or any other communications directed towards consumers

2. Drafting primary responses of legal queries from regulatory bodies

3. Liasoning with regulatory bodies for effective solution keeping best-of-interest in mind for organisation

4. Vetting & Providing inputs on Drug Lic / Draft Label/ Product Specification.

5. Regulatory support to other departments (R&D/ legal etc)

6. Competitive benchmarking of products with respect to category and license

7. Collaborating with concern stakeholders (Marketing / Unit / Legal / Packaging / R&D) for implementation of changes within given timeline shared by Government bodies

Primary responsibilities

identification with justification for New products at Concept evaluation stage

application documentation – Checking and rectification suggestions

of claim library for products with supporting documents

alerting cross-functional teams for modifications suggested by Govt. regulatory authorities

concerns for organisation and industry at joint forums and to regulatory agencies

Functional Responsibilities [others]

Up-to-date knowledge about periodical updates circulated by regulatory bodies

Preparation of dossiers for RoW countries, if required

Carry out any other legal matter related works given by seniors/ higher authority as and when necessary.

Oversees any other assignment or special assignment based on business need as communicated from time to time by the Reporting Senior / Head of Function

Minimum Requirements

Level of Education:

B.Tech in Food Technology

Experience

2-4 years in Regulatory Affairs department of any Food Processing Organisation

Knowledge & Skills

Technical Skills

Well versed with FSSAI rules and regulations, specially Honey, Nutraceuticals, Proprietary Foods

Knowledge on Food formats

Acquaintance with “Drug rules” pertaining to Ayurveda Industry would be added advantage
