you will work closely with our gastroenterologists to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Location: Rome, GA

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional Saturday

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with gastrointestinal conditions, including performing physical examinations, reviewing medical history,

and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.

Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications, providing education, and coordinating referrals to specialists

when necessary.

Perform various gastroenterology procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies under the supervision of a gastroenterologist.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective patient management.

Provide patient education on gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.

Stay current with advances in gastroenterology by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Gastroenterology.

Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner and licensure to practice in [Location].
