Who we are

Molak Corporation owns and operates some of the most iconic brands in Texas.

Our properties include the world famous Gruene Hall, Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar, Cantina del Rio, Mozies, Cotton Eyed Joes, The Company Store, and The Grapevine in New Braunfels. And, in San Antonio, we own and operate Josephine Street and Down on Grayson. We also plan and execute annual events like the Gruene Music and Wine Festival and Holidays in Gruene.

Where you will work - The Gristmill

A one-of-a-kind, true Texas experience, the Gristmill River Restaurant was once home to a cotton gin (circa 1878) and has been considered one of the most iconic dining spots in Texas for nearly half a century.

Most all menu items are made from scratch daily, right down to the soups, sauces, and dressings. With several multi-level patios and 7 open-air dining rooms, the Gristmill is the quintessential spot for intimate dinners to large parties of special celebrations and everything in between.

What you will do

Maintain clean kitchen and dish areas by making sure they are free of clutter and organized

Clean and wash dishes, cutlery, cooking tools, etc.

Clean machines and appliances, if needed

Support restaurant staff by assisting in other tasks as neededWhat you get

Who you are

You are a quick learner, ability to process, understand and execute new information

You are attentive, watching and listening carefully to others, and pay attention to detail

You are a problem solver, able to identify, prioritize, and select alternatives for a solution

You are organized and detail oriented, meticulous about getting things done right and on timeWhat you bring - minimum qualifications

Must be 16 years old or older

Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current Food Handlers certification

Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including weekends and holidaysPhysical requirements and working conditions

Must be able to stand and walk for 6 or more hours in a day

Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and over 50lbs with assistance

Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking

Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures

Compensation: $15.00 - $19.00
