Application Engineer

We are currently expanding our R&D teams in China and looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Shanghai.

Your tasks:

To manage brake systems customer (VW in China) application projects (including Foudation Brake, EBB, ESC, IBC product applications) in AP market.

To establish and execute brake system development/validation testing plan together with internal and external teams (customers) for the responsible projects

To interface with customers to understand customers’ requirements and to communicate with customers through informal and formal presentations and meetings.

To interface and closely work with FB&BC product engineering teams to define product proposals and system/packaging analysis for A/P applications

To support sales team to development new customers and business opportunities

To interface and oversea communication, closely work with and support global brake product development teams for product development to ensure the customers requirements are met

To work closely with program management team to ensure project is running smoothly

To support OEM production launch.

To on-stie support for customer trouble shooting during Vehicle test and building during development phase.

To maintain and establish good relationships with customers

To understand and follow ZF product and application development process

Your profile:

Must have 3+ years of work experience in product applications and system engineering in automotive chassis system products, preferably in braking-related systems and products

Must have good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English languages

Must have good problem solving skills

Must be willing to travel (domestic and international) and prepared to work hard and maybe overtime

Preferred to have vehicle application experience and oversea communication experience.

Preferred to have good understanding of the product application and development process

Preferred to have knowledge and experience in product design, implementation, system integration and testing
