About the department

Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high-performing affiliate within the mature pharma market environment. As a GP Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory, to develop and implement territory business plans and drive sales results for our new and existing products. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager for the New South Wales (NSW) region.

The position

As a GP Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to:

Promote our innovative therapies in the field of Obesity to General Practitioners, Pharmacists, and nurses across the Canberra (ACT) region and the NSW country areas of Goulburn, Gundagai & Tumut.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the information and support they need to make informed decisions about our products.

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

Identify and pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers, and assess their needs to recommend appropriate products and services.

Respond to customer inquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times, and conclude sales orders.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years' GP sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, or a proven track record of building and maintaining access to a network of healthcare professionals within pharmaceutical sales.

The ideal candidate has worked and lives within the advertised geographical territory.

Completed a tertiary education, preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical, or Business.

Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build relationships with customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the defined region, including outside of the metro area.

Australian citizenship or a current residency Visa to live and work in Australia.
