Our Growth Partnership Services and interactive workshops help our clients identify the Mega Trends impacting the mobility market and build innovative growth strategies in the areas of Electric Vehicles, Autonomous Driving and Connected Cars, Vehicle Retailing and Aftermarket, Shared mobility, Commercial Vehicles, Construction Equipment, Network Optimization and Expansion along with services related to customized, seamless and on-demand transportation models. Our consultants deliver actionable plans and concepts to perform growth in existing and new markets, support in navigating thought leadership on Personal and Urban Mobility, Modes/Business Models, including the digital revolution of the automotive industry and Infrastructure to enable our clients with top-of-the-line strategies to transform and grow in this pivotal business of Mobility." As a Principal Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic Global Mobility practice with presence in Americas, Europe, APAC and MEASA. MEASA practice is divided into MEA and South Asia. This role is aligned with the MEA Mobility Consulting Practice, which generates and delivers project in India and few neighboring countries. Globally, the Mobility team has consultants across regions and we work with leading participants in the automotive value chain, including automotive OEMs (4W, 2W, CV, OHV), component manufacturers, shared/new mobility companies as well as related sectors (used cars, auto leasing, car rental, auto finance, motor insurance etc.). Though there is a regional alignment, Global Mobility Practice works as one team and consultants do get an opportunity to work on projects across regions

Lead several client projects (2-4). Would take the lead responsibility on complex projects (involving multiple/ senior stakeholders and involving more than 4-5 resources). Ensure quality of work & deliverables in projects overseen. Seen by client as business advisor in senior management situation. Take ownership of selected accounts & should carry revenue quota responsibility for these accounts. Take on the responsibility to mentor & coach junior consultants.

Responsibilities

A Mechanical/Automotive engineering with/without Masters Degree or MBA in a related business discipline is preferable

College degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering

Cross-industry experience is an added advantage

Understanding of automotive technologies (upstream) including passenger vehicles, 2W, commercial vehicles, shared mobility would be a plus

Experience in conducting primary and secondary research, market analysis

Strong PowerPoint skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with complete fluency in English

Confidence to face clients and professionally communicate the findings

Ability to effectively work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong business acumen, analytical skills and the ability to go beyond the data to bring out the insights

Must be able to work within a very time-sensitive, deadline driven environment

Ability to work independently and also in team(s) "

Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded

Develop excellent quality content

Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

Qualifications

Expert interviews, field interviews, data analysis, report writing

Identify relevant strategies for clients based on insight

Complete high quality project tasks on time and within budget

Develop expertise in one program area. The 4 program areas are passenger (4W, 2W, shared mobility, used vehicles, auto leasing, car rental), commercial vehicles, aftermarket and part pricing & benchmarking

Ensuring top quality, profitability and client satisfaction

Commit to continuous learning, tracking global market trends and developing a perspective on technological innovations, the competitive landscape, impact of economic trends on the industry, evolving end-user requirements and regulatory changesTypical projects can cover (a sample list)

Writing research reports on passenger vehicle sector for our frost.com portal

Developing a market entry or expansion strategy plan for our clients

Facilitating a client workshop to identify market opportunities

Creating a business plan for a client

Market sizing for an upcoming category or technology

Impact of electrification on vehicle choices

Benchmarking competitive strategies

Developing comprehensive excel-based market sizing and forecasting market models

Performing Commercial and Strategic Due Diligence
