THE OPPORTUNITY:

A Commercial Insurance Broker who is looking to recruit an Account Executive to take over an existing book of business and Service it. You will be given a book of commercial insurance business to service and grow.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Executive will be responsible for an existing book of business consisting of commercial insurance classes and to grow this over time.

Obtain renewal terms for customers and identify potential alternative quotations before presenting to the customer

Work closely with Commercial Account Handlers to discuss broking strategy.

Be able to close the deal and sign the prospect as a new client

Continue to build long-lasting, highly credible relationships with all clients.

Be motivated to develop new business opportunities by networking and growing your portfolio, whilst still maintaining exceptional standards of relationship management with your existing clients

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

You will be an existing Account Executive with Client facing experience or a Senior Commercial Account Handler or Broker looking to move into a full time Client facing role.

You will have experience in Commercial Combined policies, Liability/Casualty risks and Motor risks.

To have strong influencing, negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills

New Business skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of products & services

Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service

Face to Face relationship building is key as you will be dealing with longstanding clients.

To keep up to date with insurance industry developments and regulatory changes
