ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
Record keeping of accounting transactions;
Monthly analysis and reporting;
Balance sheet reconciliations;
Calculation & submission of VAT and dividend tax;
Monthly EMP201 submission and SARS correspondence;
Monthly provisions, salary and general journals;
Approve daily payments on bank;
Reconcile inter-group loan accounts;
Weekly group cash position;
Reconcile related parties;
Internal & external audit process assistance;
Compilation of working papers for financial statements;
Annual XBRL reports;
Annually IRP5 Submission;
General accounting & bank administration; and
To perform tasks accurately as set out by management. Skills, Qualifications and General Requirements:
BCom Accounting qualification or busy studying towards BCom Accounting degree will be advantageous, with 3 year relevant experience;
Accurate and detail oriented;
Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
Computer literate and knowledge of the MS Office package;
Excellent Excel skills;
Be able to perform under pressure; and
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
