This includes the manufacturing of medium-power transformers, mobile transformers, mobile electrical substations, trailers, and unitized substations. Delta Star also provides comprehensive engineering, testing, maintenance services, and parts for any transformer manufacturer through our Field Service business unit, ensuring our customer's transformers and mobiles maintain peak performance.

Internship Summary:

The student will be part of the continuous improvement process in the following manufacturing areas: Operations, Engineering, Test, Supply Chain, Operations Planning, Finance, Quality, Safety, and Human Resources. The selected person will join the Delta Star West team in San Carlos, California to work on-site to support them in data collection, analysis, business report, research, and presentation. The student must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business Administration, and/or related field at an accredited university.

Main Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects. Conduct research and analysis to support project goals. Generate technical documentation and reports. Analyze data using Excel, PowerBI, SharePoint or other similar software. Propose new and improve existing reports and dashboards for operation management. Perform other related duties as assigned by the department supervisor.

Knowledge & Skills:

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or a related field.

MS Office, advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables)

Data collection and preparation for analysis.

Effective communication

Task planning and organization

Initiative

Schedule

Work schedule: Monday - Friday. 8 am - 5 pm (flexible schedule). Ability to commit to a minimum of 8 weeks on-site.
