About the position
Are you a creative thinker with a passion for crafting compelling email campaigns? Do you have a keen eye for detail and interest in analyzing data to drive results? If so, we want you to join our marketing team as an Email Marketing Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing email marketing strategies to promote our products, nurture leads, and drive customer engagement and retention. Responsibilities
Code and schedule all email campaigns – basic graphic design & HTML skills needed.
Help optimize our broader email and SMS strategy to meet aggressive sales goals, drive new subscribers and traffic, and manage unsubscribe rates
Help build and manage triggered email & SMS campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize sales and customer engagement
Work with leadership to create a weekly promotion plan that will drive sales while keeping an eye on protecting margin
Work with merchant team to identify products, categories and trend topics
Work with graphic design team to help bring campaign and promotion plans to life
Manage partnerships with relevant vendors and ensure they are working towards the same vision and goals
Actively keep track of, know and strategize how to improve our KPI goals
Conduct A/B testing to optimize our email and SMS marketing
Use customer insights to improve engagement and manage marketing calendar
Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven improvements
Create and update basic performance reports and share key KPIs regularly
Ensure brand consistency and authenticity in all marketing communications
Stay current with best practices, limitations, strategies, and industry standards
Other duties may be assigned based on your skills/experience
Qualifications
3+ years experience in email marketing
Experience managing and maintaining a larger email and SMS list
Proven history of driving results and exceeding expectations
Looking for the perfect blend of technical + creative skill set
Ability to work cross-functionally and share KPIs with the team
Basic graphic design, HTML & CSS skills required to code emails
Experience with Attentive Mobile, Google Analytics and ecommerce a plus
