Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager shall plan, organize, initiate and direct efforts and activities which will have an impact, achievement and sustainability of MK Alliance programs, goals and targets. He will be directly responsible for building up membership and accounts for MK Alliance.

He/ She must understand, model and represent the MK Alliance value propositions. As marketing head she/he will identify opportunities to build MK Farmers alliance pool, establish trust and partnership with both internal managers and external organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and monitor marketing efforts and advertising / promotional activities to enhance the MK Alliance programs and be translated to membership to MK Alliance and boosts copra procurement/ deliveries from the members.2. Achieve weekly, monthly or annual targets for membership set or expected according to top management targets.3. Provide detailed and accurate forecasts on membership and copra procurement projections, to support the refinery requirements.4. Initiate activities and other sources of copra procurement which eventually lead to hitting department’s targets to support the refinery needs.5. Conduct MK Alliance Presentations to a range of prospective clients (coconut farmers organization) Schedules Appointments, and set up meetings with these parties.6. Attend key industry meeting, assemblies- in order to increase our visibility, partnerships and augment our network with farmers, and allied government agencies (PCA)7. Prepares accomplishment reports and plans and submits to top management.

Job Requirements:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Commerce, Business Administration, AgriBusiness is preferred.

Experience and Training: Experienced, Mid-senior level, Credible 5-10 years work in supervisory or managerial experience in handling marketing, sales, business development, community organizing and public speaking is also relevant.

Physical work requirements: In excellent health condition. Field work is necessary, driving skills is a must.Must be amenable to work in Jose Panganiban Camarines Norte.
