Sales & Technical Engineer - ICT

Job Summary

The Sales and Technical Engineer performs the sales and technical support functions of the company products. As Sales Engineer, the individual is responsible for product positioning internally with the Sales Group and holds discussion to address challenges faced by partners and suppliers. The Technical Support functions includes performing routine actions which keep the equipment/modems/terminals in working order or prevent trouble from arising (preventive maintenance). The actions include the combination of all technical and corresponding administrative, managerial, and supervisory.

Designing and creating BoM for physical security systems like CCTV, ACS, BMS, and barrier systems among others.

Conducting proper scoping and site survey of customer's requirement/s

Solutions presentation to internal and external customers

Provides technical consulting service to Sales Group and the customers.

Researches and launches new or innovative products; features and functionality jointly with the assistance of Engineering.

Stays informed of any competing products in the market

Assists Operations Support in developing pricing strategies and analysis to win a project or bid

Assists Account Managers in cultivating new accounts

Maintains and manages Principal/Partner relationships with the technology and equipment suppliers

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or any course related

With at least 3 years of experience in related field

Solid knowledge on technologies across a wide variety of areas

Knowledgeable of technology products

Knowledgeable in basic IP networking

Knowledgeable in using RFI tools and equipment

Ability to provide and deliver technical presentations confidently

Ability to build business relationship with vendor partner and customer
