Job SummaryThe Assistant Store Head reports to Store Head / Operations Manager. Responsible in general management of the store by ensuring maximum sales and profitability through customer service, inventory, marketing, managing operating cost and people development.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Ensures that policies and standards are implemented being the process champion of selling, front end, warehouses operations and clearing procedures2.Market awareness and profiling3.Training and development of people4.Responsible for day to day management of selling area operations5.Ensures implementation of WalterMart standards6.Ensure pricing accuracy7.Marketing: On time and effective implementation of promo activation and launching; Build customer loyalty by ensuring that customer insights are communicated to Head Office and addressed; Audit and compliance of all promo execution8.Assists the Store Head in total store operations
