General Accountant and Cost Control Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The General Accountant is responsible for reviewing, correcting, and preparing journal vouchers needed in financial statements to be submitted to the Accounting Manager. They are expected to manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts and verify accuracy. Also, they are assigned to supervise the cost control staff and they oversee and assess reports of food and beverage cost of each outlet menu.

· Aligns the team with their task and motivates them.

· Supervise and answer accounting concerns of the team related to the day-to-day operation of the company.

7. Others

· Maintains an online drive to serve as a database for revenue monitoring of the company in lieu of the system. (POS system is on development phase)

· Assists in the annual audit by supervising the team with the requirements of the external auditor.

· Assists the manager in communicating to the external auditor about audit related concerns.

· Minimal job-related responsibilities might be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy

Minimum of 2-3 years in supervisory level.

Proficient in Microsoft excel and accounting system.

Knowledgeable with latest accounting standards and local government standards

Experience in General Accounting

Trustworthy and must have ethical integrity in handling confidential information.

Willing to start as soon as possible.
