Why does this job exist and why is it critical?

Role & Tasks

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, perform ad hoc analytical request, translate business use case and enquiry into actionable insights.

Participate in data validation activities to verify the accuracy and consistency of data, preprocess data to ensure data integrity.

Assist in capturing data attributes, maintaining metadata repositories, documenting data definition, analysis methodologies and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of results. (SharePoint Update)

To facilitate material for Weekly Performance Update, Monthly Business Review and other meetings.

Contribute to various data-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Preferred and Desirable Skills :

A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance or related fields.

Proficiency in MS office applications especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel (Intermediate).

Proficiency in SQL or data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, Power BI.

Ability to translate segregated data into compelling narratives and insights, with a keen eye for detail.

Demonstrates a proactive, adaptable approach to learning and problem-solving, while effectively managing priorities and stakeholder needs.
