The Package: $89,512.80 - $98,913.36 gross per annum + 11% super.
(Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2023) and guaranteed increases of 3.5% in 2024-25 and 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Council is seeking a motivated customer focussed individual with strong investigatory and communication skills to join our Development Compliance team.
In this role you will: Undertake inspections, investigations and statutory enforcement in response to customer requests, within delegated powers and legislative instruments.
Investigate and action development not progressing in accordance with approved plans and/ or conditions of consent.
Represent Council as the investigating officer and/ or expert in Court where required.
Issue Notices within guidelines of relevant legislation.
Assist with inspections of pool safety to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
We are looking for someone who: Has demonstrated experience and/or qualifications within the compliance industry.
Possesses strong conflict resolution and communication skills, along with confidence to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Is confident and has experience in interpreting and applying the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and related regulations.
