Tax Senior- Public Accounting

My client, a local CPA firm with multiple offices in Southeastern Michigan, is seeking a Tax Senior with a strong generalist tax background. Experience can include corporate, partnership, and/or individual tax. Position also includes general accounting work and the potential for exposure to audit projects as needed. They offer a hybrid work environment with the possibility of remote work as well.

Requirements:

Bachelorâ s degree in accounting or equivalent.

CPA certification required or actively working towards completion.

3 - 6 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Experience leading and reviewing the work of others.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Working knowledge of:

Assurance applications (CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, CS Professional Suite, Checkpoint).

Accounting software applications (Quickbooks).

Tax research database and planning tools (CCH, Checkpoint, BNA or comparable).

Tax compliance software (Axcess Tax or comparable).

Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
