Job Overview:
The CAFM Operator is responsible for utilizing computer-aided facility management software and tools to optimize pest control operations, manage facility assets, schedule maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain the computer-aided facility management (CAFM) system, including database management, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Use CAFM system to support pest control operations, including setting up asset registers, maintenance schedules, and pest inspection routines.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CAFM system by regularly updating information, conducting audits, and resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with pest control managers, supervisors, and technicians to develop pest control plans, schedules, based on facility requirements, pest prevalence, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize the CAFM system to create work orders, assign tasks to technicians, and schedule pest control treatments in accordance with established protocols and service level agreements.
• Maintain an inventory of pest control equipment, supplies, and materials within the CAFM system, including tracking usage, replenishment, and maintenance history.
• Monitor the condition and performance of pest control assets, such as bait stations, traps, and spraying equipment, and schedule preventive maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Generate reports and analyze data collected through the CAFM system to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and evaluate the effectiveness of pest control measures.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize pest control strategies, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Provide training and technical support to pest control staff on the use of the CAFM system, including data entry, work order management, and reporting functionalities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in facility management, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in facility management, pest control, or a related industry, with knowledge of CAFM systems and software applications.
• Proficiency in using CAFM software platforms, such as IBM Maximo, Archibus, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements in a dynamic work environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to facility management and pest control.
