Conformal Coating Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Assist Conformal Coating Machine Technicians by manually loading boards into machines, applying conformal coating to areas of the printed circuit board that the machines cannot cover or spray.

Manually load and unload through the UV over.

Using UV light, hold and inspect circuit boards to touch-up conformal coated material.

Pull and cut masking tape from the dispenser to cover or mask all specified areas to be protected from conformal coating.

Use tweezers to unmask or remove all masking tape materials per work instructions and follow established procedures.

Visually and manually inspect printed circuit boards for epoxy cure, bubbles and voids in epoxy using established procedures to ensure product quality.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment with electronic components is preferred.

IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification is preferred.

Ability to apply conformal coating manually with good hand dexterity.

Ability to see details at a close range.

Must have strong attention to detail.
