Texas Licensed Embalmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed embalmer to join our funeral home team. As an embalmer, you will play a crucial role in providing professional and dignified embalming services to our clients. This is an opportunity to utilize your expertise in anatomy, cosmetology, to ensure the highest level of care for the deceased and support for their loved ones.

Responsibilities:

*Care for deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks which include: verifying identification and embalming authoruzation; completing removals and transfer.

*Perform embalming procedures, including arterial and cavity embalming, in accordance with state regulations and professional standards.

*Prepare bodies for visition funerals and cremations, ensuring a natural and peaceful appearance by cosmetics, dressing and placing body in casket.

Qualifications:

*Valid Texas Embalming License

*Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and embalming techniques

*Proficiency in cosmetology techniques for post-mortem care

*Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach towards grieving families

*Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

*Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

*Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and ability to lift over 75 lbs.
